In the US, Unemployment Claims measuring the number of Americans filing initial claims for unemployment increased by 2,000 last week to 393,000 while expected to drop to 389,000 indicating a relative stability in the Job market. A drop to 390,000 is expected.

In the US, Durable Goods Orders measures the manufacturers’ orders price of durable goods, a droop to -3.6% was noted on May and this time it should gain back to 1.6%. Meanwhile the Core Durable Goods Orders (ex-Transportation) was noted -1.6% on May and now should gain 1%.

In the US, The Conference Board (CB), level of a composite index based on 10 economic indicators is about to rise by 0.7%. Tends to have a muted impact because most of the indicators used in the calculation are released previously.

In the US, The Core Durable Goods Orders measures the change in the total value of new orders for durable goods, excluding transportation appears to have considerable impact on the currency market expecting a rise of 2.2% from -1.1% in May while the less influential Durable Goods Orders is foreseen 3.8% drop from 2.8% in May.
