AUD/USD Parity, Possible Euro Turnaround and Exciting British Week

On the weekly interview on Forex TV, I spoke with Julie Sinha about the run of the Aussie on parity, a possible turnaround in the Euro, the exciting week in Britain and more. Enjoy:

After the dollar’s fall smoothed in the past week, the net shorts still reached a fresh peak. When everybody is short, who’s left to sell? This didn’t happen last week, but can sure happen now, especially with the Euro, that already dipped below uptrend support.

On the other hand, the job report from Friday still hurts the dollar. In the interview we went over the major events this week. Friday brings two important events that reflect consumers’ moods: consumer sentiment and retail sales.
