Breaking news: Hitbtc crypto exchange stops providing services in Japan

Hitbtc, the eighth largest cryptocurrency in the world, suspended services for Japanese residents. Users with Japanese IP-address will be asked to follow know-your-customer (KYC) procedure and provide their residency information. The cryptocurrency operator wants to avoid issues with Japanese regulators as it is not authorized to provide trading services in Japan.
