China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang crossed the wires in the last hour, saying that the US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi have agreed to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

Additional details are still awaited but market reaction points to some renewed optimism ahead of the upcoming G20 summit in Buenos Aires later this week.
