Coinbase, the cryptocurrency exchange based in the U.S., announces exploration of five new coins, ZCash, Stellar Lumens, 0X, Basic Attention Token, Carano, to add to its list of cryptos and tokens for investment and trading purposes. (Read here for more)
One key part of this announcement has been that the exchange announced this simultaneously for insiders as well as investors, which is noteworthy given the fact that in December last year when Coinbase added Bitcoin Cash, the price of BCH spiked sharply and Coinbase was accused of insider trading.
So, this announcement for everyone at the same time was an effort towards transparency by the crypto exchange.
Prices of Stellar Lumens was up nearly 5 percent, 0X was higher by 7.3 percent, Cardano was up 1.3 percent, ZCash was up 1.2 percent and Basic Attention Token gained by more than 5 percent.
