  • Volumes see decent pick up, after recently dropping to 2018 lows.
  • Cryptocurrency market under pressure across the board, looking to break out of narrow ranges.

Selling pressure took its toll on price across the board in the session on Monday. Large majority of cryptocurrencies has been trading broadly flat, since 15th October. The market had been broadly in consolidation mode, a lack of commitment in either direction was observed. Although, small losses were starting to accumulate.

BTC/USD fell over 2% in the session, to lowest level in two weeks. Heading towards a consolidation area seen between 11-14 October, prior to the large surge on 15th October.

XRP/USD was forced to seek comfort down just below the $0.4400 territory. Testing the lower support of a potential near-term bull flag pattern.

ETH/USD because of the selling pressure gave up the $200 mark, which had been proving to be of some comfort, over the past few trading sessions.
