Galaxy Digital CTO, Mike McMohan walks out of the digital enterprise, report says. With regard to this, McMohan said “I have already left Galaxy Digital and looking for my next opportunity,” without disclosing any further information.
Galaxy Digital, on the other hand, are intently looking for a candidate for the post according to Job Postings on LinkedIn. They have refrained from commenting anything on this issue.
A CTO’s role is “build, coach and provide hands-on leadership to the technology team” and “build a strong partnership with the business to ensure technology is supporting revenue-generating, client-facing business initiatives” along with other duties.
McMohan, before joining Galaxy Digital had experience with major companies like Bank of New York-Mellon, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs and ENSO Financial Analytics.
Galaxy Digital is one of the most diligent investors in crypto startups. It is founded by Michael Novogratz. The company is based in New York although it is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange’s TSX Venture Exchange. Recently, it tied up with startup Bison Trails and crypto analytics firm CipherTrace.
