DUP’s Donaldson: Will clearly oppose the reported EU compromise on double majority N. Ireland veto

Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) lawmaker Jeffrey Donaldson was on the wires last minutes, via Reuters, saying that the party would clearly oppose the reported EU compromise on double majority N. Ireland veto.

He added that the reported EU offer is “N. Ireland only backstop reheated”, represents no real compromise.

The comments come after DUP’s Brexit spokesman shot down the latest EU concession offer.
