ECB’s Rehn: Most recent data point to weakening economy

The European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member  Olli  Rehn  told Germany’s business daily Handelsblatt on Sunday that the central bank has all   the instruments available should the Eurozone economic growth weaken further, as reflected by the recent data-points.

Key Comments (via Reuters):

Will discuss in coming meetings about TLTROs.

We have time before making a decision on TLTROs.

Any TLTRO decision will be based on whole Eurozone, not one country.

Most recent data point to weakening economy.

Draghi successor must be selected on the basis of competence and experience.
