EIA: Commercial crude oil inventories decreased by 4.2 mln barrels

Below are the key highlights from the EIA’s  weekly petroleum report for the week ending May 25, 2018.

  • U.S. crude oil refinery inputs averaged about 17.2 million barrels per day during the week ending May 25, 2018, 527,000 barrels per day more than the previous week’s average.
  • U.S. crude oil imports averaged over 7.6 million barrels per day last week, down by 528 thousand barrels per day from the previous week.  
  • U.S. commercial crude oil inventories decreased by 4.2 million barrels from the previous week.  
  • Total products supplied over the last four-week period averaged about 20.7 million barrels per day, up by 1.3% from the same period last year.
