Ethereum and EOS lag behind Tron (TRX) in daily blockchain operations

  • The total amount of transactions on Tron network are almost hitting 44 million.
  • The Tron is presenting itself as a worthy competitor to Ethereum.

The battling to becoming the best-decentralized applications platform in the blockchain industry began when EOS and Tron got their independence from Ethereum blockchain last year. Tron has over the past few shown that it is up to the task and could eventually surpass both Ethereum and EOS.

In fact, recently the founder of Tron Justine Sun took to Twitter saying that Tron’s daily blockchain operations had beaten that of Ethereum and EOS combined. Reports from the network show that Tron achieved more 27 million transactions on a daily basis showing dust to its two rivals.

At press time, the total amount of transactions on Tron network are almost hitting 44 million. Ethereum lags behind with 11.6 million and EOS follows at 4.4 million. This means that both EOS and Ethereum daily transactions combined are still lagging behind Tron.

Tron is targeting to enter into the top five largest cryptocurrencies bracket by market capitalization in 2019. The network is presenting itself as a worthy competitor to Ethereum and intends to get close to it in terms of market capitalization and possibly dethrone it from the second spot on the market.

Tron currently holds the tenth position on the market as per the data on CoinMarketCap. Steller recently pushed it out of the ninth spot. Tron is trading at 0.0225 after correcting higher 0.27% in the last 24-hours.
