An EU official recently crossed the news wires saying that the EU would consider it favourably if the UK were to request to postpone Brexit. “A Brexit delay of a couple of months would be relatively straight forward,” the official added.
Earlier in the session, PM May told Parliament that an extension wouldn’t take the no-deal off the table and reiterated that she didn’t want to extend Article 50 to force on the GBP/USD pair and cause it to retreat from daily highs to 1.3180 area.
