EUR futures: interim top in place?

In light of CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR future markets, open interest rose by around 8.5K contracts on Monday from Friday’s final 473,923 contracts. In the same line, volume dropped by almost 36.8K contracts.

EUR/USD rejected from 1.1800

EUR/USD failed to advance further north of the 1.1800 handle at the beginning of the week, sparking the ongoing correction lower amidst rising open interest and a modest drop in volume. The recent performance in spot could hint at the idea that a potential interim top has formed in the 1.1800 neighbourhood for the time being.
