EU’s Tajani: Italy’s growth goal of 1.6 percent is “propaganda”

EU Parliament President Tajani is out on the wires, calling Italy’s growth target of 1.6 percent as “propaganda”.

He added further that Italy’s growth is too low for Rome’s 2019 budget plans, which include a deficit target of 2.4% of the gross domestic product.

Earlier this week, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio, head of the 5 Star Movement, said that the EU is engaged in market terrorism.
