Fed’s Harker: US-China trade dispute is part of ‘broad umbrella of uncertainty’ that weighs on businesses

After delivering his prepared speech at an event in Philadelpiha, Philly Fed President delivered some additional remarks on the policy outlook and the U.S.-China trade conflict. Harker said that the trade dispute was a part of the broad umbrella of uncertainty' that weighs on businesses sentiment.   "We do not have a lot of policy space to deal with a recession now, we are close to neutral rates right now," Harker argued.
