After delivering his prepared speech at an event in Philadelpiha, Philly Fed President delivered some additional remarks on the policy outlook and the U.S.-China trade conflict.
Harker said that the trade dispute was a part of the broad umbrella of uncertainty’ that weighs on businesses sentiment.
“We do not have a lot of policy space to deal with a recession now, we are close to neutral rates right now,” Harker argued.
