Forex Daily Outlook January 8 2013

Trade Balance in Australia and Unemployment Rate in Europe are the main events lined up.  Let’s see what awaits us today.

In the US, Investor’s Business Daily (IBD) TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) Economic Optimism, 46.3 points are calculated now from 45.1 points on the last month survey

Later in the US, Consumer Credit, value all the installment payments from consumers credit, 12.1B is predicted now from 14.2B on December.

In Europe, Unemployment Rate, value by percentage the unemployed that are actively looking for jobs on the previous month, rise of 0.1% from December is likely up to 11.8%.

Later in Europe,   Retail Sales,   important consumer spending indicator to value all the sales at the retail level, rise up to 0.5% is due now from -1.2% on the last month.

Also in Europe, German Factory Orders shows the new manufacturers’ purchase orders on December, -1.4% is estimated now from 3.9% on the last report.

Finally in Europe, Trade Balance, value the difference between imported and exported goods, 15.9% is likely on the German Trade Balance while on the French Trade Balance -4.8B both similar to December.

In Great Britain, British Retail Consortium (BRC) Retail Sales Monitor, value the sales at the retail level for the same store sales, 0.4% is likely similar to the last month report.

In Switzerland, Unemployment Rate is due this time with no change form 3.0% on the last time.

In Australia, Trade Balance, value the difference between imported and exported goods and services, -2.21B is due this month from -2.09B on the last time.
