Forex Daily Outlook July 17 2013

In the US Fed Chairman Bernanke Testifies and Claimant Count Change in the UK are the main events today.   Here is an outlook on the market-movers awaiting us

In the US, Ben Bernanke, Federal Reserve Chairman is due to testify  in Washington DC.

Later in the US, Building Permits, important future construction activity gauge to value the yearly new residential building permits that were issued over the last month, 1.00M is due from 0.99M on June. Meanwhile on the Housing Starts 0.96M is likely now from 0.91M on the last report.

More in the US, Crude Oil Inventories, weekly measurement to value the commercial crude oil barrels that are held in inventory, -1.9M is predicted from -9.9M on the last week.

Also in the US, Sarah Bloom Raskin, Federal Reserve Governor is about to speak in Washington DC.

Finally in the US, Beige Book that is scheduled 8 times per year, 2 weeks before each FOMC meeting is expected now.

In Canada, BOC Rate Statement, BOC primary tool uses to communicate with investors on financial policy and discusses the economic outlook. It is flowed by BOC Monetary Policy Report and BOC Press Conference. And no change is due on the Overnight Rate with 1.00%.

Later in Canada, Foreign Securities Purchases, value the total foreigners purchased domestic stocks, bonds, and money-market assets, reduce down to 10.23B is predicted now from 14.91B on June.

In Europe, German 10-y Bond Auction, shows the average 10-year yield for bonds the government sold versus the bid to cover ratio of the auction.

In Great Britain, Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) Official Bank Rate Votes, The Bank of England (BOE’s) MPC meeting minutes on the interest rate. And the MPC Asset Purchase Facility Votes are due now.

Later in Great Britain, Claimant Count Change, shows the number of people claiming unemployment benefits, -7.5K is predicted now from -8.6K during the previous month.

More in Great Britain, Unemployment Rate, value by percentage the total work force that is unemployed and actively looking for jobs, 7.8& is likely now with no change from the past 3 months.

Finally in Great Britain, Average Earnings Index, consumer inflation indicator to value the price change played for labor by businesses and the government (including bonuses), rise of 0.1% is calculated up to 1.4% now.

In Switzerland, Zentrum fur Europaische Wirtschaftsforschung (ZEW) Economic Expectations, Monthly Survey to rate the 6 month financial outlook for Switzerland, 2.2 points are due similar to the previous time.

In Australia, The Conference Board (CB) Leading Index, index based on 7 monetary indicators, 0.3% is due now.

Later in Australia, National Australia Bank (NAB) Quarterly Business Confidence, Survey to rate the current and future business condition, 2 points are calculated now.
