Forex Daily Outlook January 2 2013

ISM Manufacturing PMI in the US and Manufacturing PMI in the UK are the main events lined up.  Let’s see what awaits us today.

In the US, The Institute for Supply Management (ISM),) Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), Monthly Survey to value the business conditions such as employment, new orders, supplier deliveries and inventories, rise up to 50.2 points is due from 49.5 on December. Reduce down of 1 points is due on the Final Manufacturing PMI to 53.2 points. And similar reduce is likely on the ISM Manufacturing Prices with 54.4 points now from 52.5 on the last report.

Later in the US, Construction Spending is likely to drop down to 0.6% now from 1.4% on December.

In Europe, German Prelim Consumer Price Index (CPI), value the price change of consumer’s goods and services, 0.7% is likely now from -0.1% on December.

Later in Europe, Final Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), Survey to rate the business conditions like employment, production and new orders, 46.3 points are due to remain similar to the last report, while on the Spanish Manufacturing PMI 44.9 points are calculated now from 45.3 points in December.

In Great Britain, Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), Monthly Survey of to rate the business conditions prices, supplier deliveries and inventories, is about to rise up by 0.1 points up to 49.2 points.

In Australia, Commodity Prices, value the selling price change of exported commodities, -11.6 is calculated this month.
