In Europe, European Central Bank (ECB) Jean-Claude Trichet, due to speak about the European Central Bank’s 2009 Annual Report at the European Parliament, in Strasbourg; influence the euro’s value and subtle clues regarding future monetary policy

In Europe, Consumer Confidence, Survey of about 2,300 consumers in Eurozone countries which asks respondents to rate the relative level of past and future economic conditions, including personal financial situation, employment, inflation, and climate for major purchases, indicates pessimism with -10 points.

In New Zealand, Visitor Arrivals, short-term overseas visitors who arrived in the country is about 0.9% like on the previous month. Tourism plays an important role in the economy – about 10% of the population is employed by the tourism industry, and a sizable portion of the nation’s GDP is indirectly related to tourism
