In its latest client note on Brexit, the US investment banking giant, Goldman Sachs, upped the odds of a no Brexit deal after the UK PM May managed to seek 2-weeks Brexit deadline extension late-Thursday.
Key Highlights:
“By postponing Brexit day by at least a fortnight, the UK and the EU have kept all options in play, for now.”
The chances of May’s deal being ratified slashed to 50% from 60%, and raised the chances of a “no-deal” Brexit to 15% from 5%.
The probability of Brexit not happening at all remained unchanged, at 35%.
