IMF fears US’s fiscal stimulus could trigger inflation-breakout

The IMF’s Article IV on the US released yesterday showed the fund is worried that US fiscal stimulus could lead to inflation breakout and in response the Fed would have to raise interest rates at a faster pace.

The IMF sees Fed Funds target rate at 3.5 percent to 3.75 percent by 2020.
