IFP News (Iran Front Page) reports the latest comments from the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, citing that he has “heard” about a “freeze in exchange for freeze” plan, based on which the US freezes its sanctions and Iran freezes its nuclear measures. But nothing official yet.

If the reports get confirmed, the risk sentiment is likely to get a boost and could drive the USD/JPY pair above the 109 handle.
