Irish PM Varadkar: Leaders agreed to avoid hard border

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar recently crossed the wires saying that leaders have agreed to avoid a hard border. Varadkar also stated that they were to open to “Brexit review clause.”

“Leaders expressed hope that negotiations could conclude in a satisfactory manner as soon as possible,” he added. Earlier in the day, Varadkar argued that it would be ideal to reach a Brexit agreement by the end of the year.
