Italian EconMin: Exploring various options to support Italian banks in case of need

Citing government sources familiar with the matter, Reuters reported that Italy’s economy minister said that they were exploring various options to support Italian banks in case they need it. “Italy’s ruling 5-Star Movement opposes the use of state funds to rescue banks or strengthen their capital,” Reuters said.
