Japan PM Ally Hagiuda: Japan should assess range of data before deciding to raise sales tax in October

A close ally of the Japanese PM Abe, Hagiuda, was reported by Reuters, as saying that “Japan should assess range of data, including ‘tankan’ before deciding to raise sales tax in October.”

He added that “the decision to delay Japan’s sales tax rise will not necessarily require snap lower house election.”

Separately, the Japanese Foreign Ministry published a statement, urging Iran to abide by nuclear deal in meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif.
