Japanese citizens aren’t fretting about the sub-2 percent consumer price inflation, Finance Minister Aso said on Monday, according to Reuters.
Aso added further that the Bank of Japan (BOJ) could become more flexible in defining its price target.
The central bank has been running a massive stimulus program since 2013. Even so, inflation remains well below the bank’s 2 percent price target.
