McAfee launches a “no restrictions” decentralized exchange

  • A famous cryptocurrency and cybersecurity expert announced a launch of his cryptocurrency rating platform.
  • The new exchange will be based on Ethereum blockchain and support all ERC-20 tokens.

An odious figure of the cryptocurrency universe, John McAfee, has announced the beta launch of a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange that will put a special emphasis on privacy aspects.

The new trading platform dubbed McAfee DEX is promoted as a place where “nothing is monitored.”

“A preview of what’s coming Monday: Requires no name, no documents, no email, no bank info. Transaction details private. Nothing monitored. Nothing recorded. No restrictions. No listing fees. 0.25% transaction fees. Completely decentralized,” McAfee is tweeted recently, describing his exchange.

The platform runs on Ethereum blockchain and supports all ERC-20 tokens, according to McAfee.

Notably, the platfrom experienced some issues at the launch, allegedly due to DDoS attacks.

“As could have been predicted. Dex Speed has slowed due to the humorous DDOS attacks that follow my every release of anything:). We’re adding nodes and speed should be up to par in a few moments. I love the negative adoration of my trolls. They are proof I’m doing something right,” McAfee tweeted in about an hour after the announced beta launch.

However, at the time of writing, the platform is online. Customers may import an account or create a new one.
