MyEtherWallet, one of the most popular cryptocurrency wallets for ERC-20 tokens, added new functionality, which will allow users buying ETH for fiat via Visa or MasterCard.
“We wanted to make it as seamless as possible for our community to get their hands on cryptocurrencies, so we have partnered up with the team at Simplex to make that happen. MEW users worldwide will now be able to buy ETH using just their credit card,” the company said in an official announcement.
Simplex platforms a regulated fintech company established in 2014. It was chosen as a technical solution provider due to its innovative features, including artificial intelligence and advanced fraud-fighting algorithms.

Users will have to go through verification procedure to be able to purchase Ethereum with credit cards provided that the bank that issued the card allow cryptocurrency operations.
ETH/USD is changing hands at $462 at the time of writing. The price has not changed since this time yesterday and gained about 1% since the start of the day. The short-term volatility is growing despite reduced trading volumes as the coin stays close to Fibo retracement at $460.
