The North Korean news agency, KCNA, reports the government saying that the US extension of sanctions is a direct challenge to the Singapore Summit Agreement and an extreme act of hostility.

The safe-haven Yen remains unimpressed by the above headlines, with USD/JPY flirting with daily tops near 107.50 levels.
