NAB’s Aussie Confidence and Conditions surveys print to the upside

The National Australia Bank (NAB) has released September’s Business Conditions and Confidence survey results, with the indicators both printing to the upside, clearing market forecasts of further contraction.

Key highlights

NAB’s Business Conditions Survey clocked in at 15, holding steady at the previous month’s revised figure, leapfrogging over the forecast contraction of 9.

NAB’s Business Confidence Survey also beat expectations, printing at 6 versus the forecast 5, and putting distance on the previous reading of 4.
