NZ: Trade Deficit likely to be NZD1.6b for September – TDS

Analysts at TD Securities are penciling in a NZD1.6b deficit for the Sep trade balance with exports at NZ$4.2b and imports at NZ$5.8b.

Key Quotes

“While exports are likely to rise steadily into year-end, they are unlikely to keep pace with the firmer import trend. The NZD decline doesn’t help either.”
