September was a very stormy month that saw big events and movements with the announcement of QE3 being central. October also promises quite a bit of action as decision making becomes more urgent in Europe. For the US dollar it should also be exciting also in the aftermath of QE3. What’s next for the Fed? In addition, the upcoming US elections will also have an impact and have a dedicated chapter.

Specific currency outlooks follow. Each currency outlook consists of two parts: a fundamental overview and a high time-frame technical analysis. In addition, the relative strength index tries to predict how major currencies will rank during October. A timetable of key events and some extra additional notes for forex traders end the report.
