According to a Bloomberg report, citing unnamed delegates, OPEC+ ministers were said to discuss oil output cut options for 2019 in Abu Dhabi amid concerns about the increase in oil inventories.

The news prompted some short-covering trade in oil markets, with WTI crude oil rallying over 1.0% to the $63.00 neighborhood in the last hour.
