RBNZ’s Q3 core inflation remains unchanged at 1.7%

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s (RBNZ) preferred inflation measure for the third quarter – the sectoral factor model – came in at 1.7 percent year-on-year, unchanged from the previous quarter.

The data released earlier today showed the consumer price inflation came in at 0.9 percent quarter-on-quarter, beating the estimated rise to 0.7 percent from the previous quarter’s print of 0.4 percent.
