XRP/USD is changing hands at $0.3050, mostly unchanged since this time on Friday, The third largest cryptocurrency managed to recover from February 12 low at $0.2971. However, the recovery momentum has been losing traction on the failure to settle above $0.3100.
Meanwhile, Ripple continues supporting developers that input time and resources in building XRP infrastructure and contribute to the ecosystem development.
A fundraising branch of Ripple, Xpring has invested in a startup that builds applications for XRP ledger. According to Xpring’s director Vanessa Pestritto, the person behind the startup, Wietse Wind, has been a long-time contributor to the community of XRP developers and a successful entrepreneur who knew how to grow his companies organically.
“Wietse not only has an excellent experience, but understands the protocols and technical details of both the XRP Ledger and Interledger Protocol,” she wrote in a dedicated blog post.
Apart from that, Wietse is known as a leader of the community, who dedicated his time and resources to contribute to the community blog, build projects, educate developers at local meet-ups.
His creative approach and ability to engage developers influenced the decision of the company to invest money in his startup XRPL Labs.
