- The second-largest TRON (TRX) wallet has mysteriously added 600 million TRX to its massive balance, totaling 2.5 billion TRX.
- Some speculate that the account might be linked to TRON founder Justin Sun or one of his associates.
In a recent mysterious transaction, the second-largest TRON wallet has just added 600 million TRX to its balance. At the moment, it is unclear as to who’s behind this wallet, but it continues to garner more and more money. Some believe that the account is linked to TRON founder Justin Sun himself.
The anonymous address in question now holds around 2.5 billion TRX ($28M). According to TRON’s own block explorer, all of the tokens are ‘frozen’ for bandwidth. Whale Alert tweeted about the transaction:
600,000,000 #TRX (6,638,732 USD) transferred from unknown wallet to unknown wallet -@whale_alert
Back-tracking the address has also proven to be unfruitful. Given Justin Sun’s controversial history, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he or one of his associates are linked to the second-largest TRX wallet on the network. Earlier in February, TRON’s Super Representatives voted to increase block rewards and completely removed the hard cap for TRON. This means that there is no long-term limit on how much TRX will enter circulation.
Justin Sun is known for being a sensationalist. He appears to have taken situations such as the pandemic and Kobe Bryant’s death to promote TRX. He has even called TRX a ‘sh*tcoin’ on video during a drunken moment caught on video.
