As initially reported by the UK Times, another UK parliamentarian has delivered a no-confidence letter to the UK’s ‘1922 Committee’.
British MP Crispin Blunt is the latest lawmaker to deliver a letter of no-confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May’s government, and while the exact number of delivered letters remains unknown, sources are suggesting that the 1922 Committee has most of the 48 lawmaker letters required to trigger a no-confidence vote in the UK’s parliament.
Graham Brady is the current chairman of the 1992 Committee, who said in The UK TImes, “I want to encourage those who are thinking about it; get it done,” in reference to MPs who are considering their options.
