Britain’s foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt, speaking on BBC Radio 4 this Tuesday, said that the government still intends to leave the EU on March 29 and the time is very short to reach a Brexit deal.
“¢ The situation has improved in last month and signals from the EU are reasonably positive.
“¢ EU beginning to realize that PM can get a majority in the Parliament.
“¢ Crucial thing is that the UK cannot be trapped in the EU customs Union indefinitely.
“¢ The UK is flexible on how guarantee on the backstop comes.
“¢ Could be a role for arbitration mechanism for the UK to exit Irish backstop.
“¢ It is up to the PM to decide whether to whip votes for or against a no-deal.
