According to The Guardian’s political editor Heather Stewart, the opposition Labour party is planning to bring the second referendum to a vote tomorrow. “Backers of the Cooper-Letwin amendment meeting now to decide whether to press ahead tomorrow. Cooper herself certainly didn’t sound placated by the PM; but will her Conservative allies want to fold?” Stewart tweeted out.

The initial market reaction to this development didn’t allow the British pound to recover the losses that it suffered against the greenback in the last couple of hours and the GBP/USD pair was last seen trading at 1.3165, where it was still up 0.53% on a daily basis.
