As reported by Reuters, UK Prime Minister Theresa May is thumbing her nose at her critics, attempting to cool public opinion, assuring whoever will listen that Brexit is an opportunity that is full of promise.

Key highlights

The UK has only six more months within the European Union, and PM May is continuing to face pressure from both EU leaders in Brussels and back home from her own parliament, and PM May is struggling to regain the initiative on Brexit, while Conservatives continue to step up efforts to stop PM May’s current Chequers plan.
