British Prime Minister Theresa May’s spokesman crossed the newswires in the last hour saying that the Manfred Weber, the leader of the European People’s Party, recognized the Chequers proposals were a step forward in Brexit negotiations. The spokesman further stated that Weber and Theresa May agreed on how the UK and the EU parliaments should be able to vote on a precise plan for the UK-EU relationship.
