The crash in stocks and commodities has reached central banks and we have seen some action. This is not necessarily a positive for everybody. 1. The Draghi show:  The ECB kicked off the year with a nice comeback, moving markets in the right direction. We analyze the moving parts of EUR/USD in the context of the ECB and other factors.
  2. Currency Wars: Draghi’s show was not the first and not the last. The BOE, BOJ, BOC and the Chinese authorities, were things  originated, have all contributed to soothing the atmosphere. Will the Fed jump in?
  3. Oil Prices: Too much supply and worries about demand  have a direct impact on oil, but the different reasons have different market moves. What’s going on in the slippery and bouncy commodity?
  4. Preview: The Fed’s turn in currency wars approaches, and it may also reveal some hints about the other key event, the preliminary GDP. And there’s more.
