US 10-year yield hits lowest level since Sept. 7

The yield on the US 10-year treasury note fell to 2.874 percent soon before press time – its lowest level since Sept. 7.

The risk aversion in the equities seems to have boosted haven demand for the treasuries. More importantly, the yield may slide even further if the US ADP and ISM non-manufacturing data, scheduled for release later today, shows a moderation in the labor market.
