US, China plot road map to resolve trade dispute by November – WSJ

According to a gated article carried by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) over the weekend, the US and Chinese negotiators are outlining a roadmap to end their trade impasse ahead of the meetings scheduled between the US President Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in November.

The WSJ reports, “the planning represents an effort on both sides to keep a deepening trade dispute””which already has involved tariffs on billions of dollars of goods and could target hundreds of billions of dollars more””from torpedoing the U.S.-China relationship and shaking global markets.”
