US election: Biden is up 49.5% vs. 48.8% in Wisconsin with 97% of votes tallied

Former Vice President Joe Biden has 49.5% and US President Donald Trump has 48.8% of the votes in Wisconsin with 97% os expected votes tallied so far, Reuters reported, citing Edison Research.

Market reaction

The market mood remains upbeat ahead of Wall Street’s opening bell. As of writing, the S&P 500 futures were up 1.3% on a daily basis. On the other hand, the US Dollar Index, which climbed to a fresh monthly high of 94.30 earlier in the day, was last seen virtually unchanged on a daily basis at 93.34.
