US GDP Live Coverage – How much did the US economy slow?

After the longest government shutdown in history, we finally receive the US GDP data for Q4 2018. While that quarter did not include the shutdown, it did include some conflicting signals. How slow did the US economy go? The world is watching the world’s superpower.

Traders are asking the question and the US awaits an answer. Official estimates stand at 2.3% after 3.4% in Q3 and 4.2% in Q2. However, the sharp fall in US retail sales makes things more complicated.
