US: ISM non-manufacturing index likely to decline to 55.1 in September – TD Securities

In view of analysts at TD Securities, the US ISM non-manufacturing index is expected to decline modestly to 55.1 in September following the notable 2.7 increase to 56.4 in August.

Key Quotes

“This would come on the heels of a sharply lower ISM manufacturing print for September that dragged the index deeper into contractionary territory and would suggest the services sector remains largely healthy despite the worsening outlook for the industrial sector.”
