The number of Job Openings in the US rose to 5.9 million on the last business day of June, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) said in its latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Summary (JOLTS) report on Monday. This reading followed May’s print of 5.37 million and came in better than the market expectation of 4.9 million.
