US State Sec Pompeo’s meeting with North Korea delayed…. indefinitely

In a very quiet off-hours announcement, in the middle of US mid-term election counting, the US State Department has issued a statement that State Secretary Mike Pompeo’s planned meeting with North Korean Leaders in New York tomorrow has been postponed indefinitely.

Pompeo was slated to meet ringleaders within Kim Jong Un’s government on Thursday in order to continue hammering out something resembling a deal between the two nations as Trump’s administration desperately tries to play catch-up as North Korea makes agreements with a wide variety of countries including South Korea, Russia, and China, and the State Department has announced that the North Korea-Pompeo meeting will be rescheduled when “our respective schedules permit”.
