According to the data published jointly by the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, the goods and services deficit rose to $50 billion in March from $49.3 billion in February and came in slightly better than the market expectation of $50.2 billion.
“March exports were $212.0 billion, $2.1 billion more than February exports. March imports were $262.0 billion, $2.8 billion more than February imports,” the press release noted.
